The campground is located on a forested peninsula and overlooks the 25,900-acre lake. Surrounded by rolling fields and deep forests that display outstanding fall foliage, West Point Lake extends 35 miles along the Chattahoochee River on the Alabama-Georgia state line. Those providing rental campers will not be allowed to set-up prior to the arrival of the primary occupant. The primary occupant must check-in before guests of the primary occupant are allowed to visit a reserved campsite. West Point Lake campgrounds accept payment by credit card, debit card, or prepaid credit card only. Pets are not allowed in restrooms, shower houses or on playground. Pens and cages should not be placed on graveled impact pads due to sanitary concerns. Pet owners must dispose of all pet waste.

Invisible fences or wireless collars are not sufficient. All pets must be penned, caged, or restrained on a leash no longer than six (6) feet.

PETS: Wild, exotic or aggressive pets and livestock are not permitted in the campground. For emergency exit, see the park attendant contractors at their campsite located near the gatehouse or call 70. Trailers may be parked at the boat ramps. All four wheels should be off the pavement with the vehicle parallel to the roadway.

If spaces are unavailable, park on the shoulder of the road with the direction of traffic. Vehicles may be parked two-wide in most driveways. PARKING: Vehicles should be parked in campsite driveways and designated parking spaces. This includes cars, trucks, campers, RVs, boat trailers, and utility trailers.

There is a four (4) vehicle per campsite limit in the campground.

Campers and their guests are required to depart the campground and remove their camping equipment prior to check-out time. Need to KnowĬHECK-IN TIME is guaranteed for reservations after 4:00 p.m. Holiday Campground is a large facility with 112 campsites and two group camping areas, including electric, non-electric, tent-only and group sites.īasketball and tennis courts and a playground provide additional recreation opportunities for guests. This man-made lake has 525 miles of shoreline that provide excellent opportunities for fishing, camping, boating and other recreational activities. Holiday Campground is a waterfront facility on the western shore of West Point Lake, which spans parts of Alabama and Georgia.
